The Current is a 178-unit, mixed-use student housing community in Pomona, CA. The slab-on-grade, wood-framed building provides 602 beds for students at nearby Cal Poly Pomona. The Current offers several floor plans ranging from studio to five-bedroom units that all feature quartz countertops and LVT flooring. Designed to complement student life, community amenities include several study spaces, a fitness center, clubhouse, and courtyards with landscaped seating areas and an outdoor pool. The four-story building also contains roughly 1,000 SF of retail.

Following CalGreen building standards, The Current utilizes water-conserving plumbing fixtures and fittings, employs a construction waste management plan, and features low-VOC adhesives, sealants, caulks, paints, and coatings. The project also offers EV charging stations in the adjacent parking lot.
